Susan first visited the Chesapeake region in the summer of 1978, and soon thereafter developed a passion for spending time there on the water with family and friends. After many years of enjoying a weekend home in Mathews County on the Piankatank River, Susan and her husband permanently relocated to Middlesex County to live alongside the beautiful Rappahannock River.
Prior to relocating to Middlesex County, Susan spent over thirty years working in the real estate industry in Virginia. She graduated from the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business and soon after started a new home construction and remodeling business. She has held a Class A Building Contractors License since 1988. She also has purchased and sold over one hundred investment properties, restored numerous “fixer uppers”, and actively managed the new home construction process for many customers. Later, she served as President of Silver Construction Capital, providing construction financing to hundreds of builders, developers, and rehabbers in the Virginia region. As a real estate lender, Susan had the opportunity to evaluate over five thousand real estate projects for value, risk, and feasibility during her career.
Susan now brings this comprehensive level of real estate expertise to buyers seeking to purchase property in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. She is knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of the buying process, from finding the best property to meet your needs, to skillfully leading you through the closing process. My name is Sarah Jarvis and I am the Principal Broker and an owner of One South Realty Group. I am a native of the Richmond area, growing up in Hanover County and living in many locales throughout the Metro. After graduating from the College of William and Mary in 1990, I was licensed as a Realtor in 1991 and by 1996, had started my first brokerage. In 2008, I helped found One South Realty Group with my husband, Rick Jarvis, and commercial broker, Tom Rosman. We saw an opportunity to create a company that would serve both the residential and commercial markets and capitalize on our diverse experience in multiple areas of real estate. One South Realty Group has grown from a new company to the top 5% of all real estate companies in the Richmond area.
